Even though we got to sleep in and our day was shorter today, we had a busy day! Everybody made pack-out lunches today after chapel. The 36 Roots campers brought their lunches into Longville and did their Bible Studies and ate lunch there, before volunteering at the Turtle Races. The three remaining cabins got to have full reign of camp and had a picnic lunch. It was a quiet free time with only 21 campers left at camp, but we had fun!
During Rendezvous (Time with God) last night, one of our campers wrote a song that goes along with our summer theme of Ordinary People, Extraordinary God! Ingrid shared her song with us today!
Isn’t that awesome?! We are hoping that Ingrid will teach it to us tomorrow!
The Roots had a great time in Longville today! They got to help run the game booths, dance, eat ice cream and enjoy Longville!
For Game Time today we played Snoodles!
Our Olympic event of the day was Minute to Win It and Choose Thine Option.

The second part of the Olympics today was a game called Choose Thine Option. Each player chooses to do one of three actions: buoy, karate, or dancing. The leader then chooses an option. If you match the leader, you are out. The winner won 25 points for their team!
Choose Thine Option Finalists
We played Hula Launchers tonight! We will include pictures from that in a post tomorrow.
